I'm using VB6 and a True DBGrid (v.6) in storage mode. One column (0) is visible, column 1 is not, so in essence it is a one-column grid. The MarqueeStyle is 6 - floating editor because I wanted a grid that would act like the Access datasheets. How can I finesse this grid to:
1) With each row change, position the cursor at the first position (not at the end) of the cell and![True Dbgrid True Dbgrid](/uploads/1/2/6/3/126346399/685246209.png)
2) have the cell immediately in edit mode, so the arrow keys and Home and End keys would work within the cell - something has to be typed at the end of the text for that to happen now
3) I also want the grid to respond to ctrl-Home and ctrl-End to position to the first or last rows of the grid.
Also, how can I print out the property settings of a DBGrid? I'm going crazy comparing the properties I set on two grids, using the property designer.
True DBGrid was designed to be a powerful, versatile, and easy-to-use data presentation tool. Novice programmers can use True DBGrid to create a fully functional database browser without writing any lines of code. Professional developers can use the grid control's many properties and events to create sophisticated and user-friendly database front-end applications.
